For Email

Copy and paste the following into an email (you may edit to meet your needs):

Coming up on Sunday, September 10, at 8 p.m. there is a meaningful community event planned to help us remember lives lost to suicide. You have the opportunity to join with others for a worthy cause--that of suicide prevention.

On World Suicide Prevention Day, September 10, you are invited to The Veranda at The Whitcomb in downtown St. Joseph. The short ceremony will give us time to remember and honor the lives lost to suicide. It will increase the community's awareness of the need for suicide prevention. Your participation is important as an encouragement to others and to increase the impact on the community.

You may bring a photo of a loved one lost to suicide if you'd like. As part of the ceremony, you will have the chance to share the name of the person you are remembering. Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to connect with others interested in suicide prevention while we enjoy light refreshments together.
