Mental Health First Aid Workshop

Why learn Mental Health First Aid?

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges.


The course covers:

• Common signs and symptoms of mental health challenges.

• How to interact and support a person in crisis and non-crisis.

• How to connect a person with other support strategies and help.

• Expanded content on trauma, substance abuse use, and self-care.


Adult MHFA: Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 9am to 5pm

Youth MHFA: Thursday, March 20, 2025 from 9am to 4pm


Where: Corewell Health Center for Wellness, 133 West Main, Benton Harbor.


Cost: There is no cost to attend (a $170 value). You must register to reserve your seat. Lunch is provided.
