The Injury and Violence Prevention Section at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services and the University of Michigan Institute for Firearm Injury Prevention (IFIP) are excited to offer an opportunity to build capacity to address firearm-related suicide.
The 2025 Michigan Suicide Prevention Community Technical Assistance Conference (CTAC) will take place May 7-9, 2025, at the Treetops Resort in Gaylord, Michigan, with pre-conference workshops taking place on Wednesday, May 7th. Pre-conference workshops have limited seating. See attached flyers at the end of this message for more information about the Extreme Risk Protection Order (ERPO) and Grant Funding Essentials workshops.
Registration for the main conference is $50 and includes breakfast on Thursday and Friday as well as lunch on Thursday. There are also social work continuing education credits available.
Lodging costs are the responsibility of attendees in 2025. The group rate of $98/night is available for reservations made before March 21, 2025. Call 866-348-5249 and mention "MDHHS Suicide Prevention CTAC" to receive the group rate.
Breakout session selections are made during registration, please find all session descriptions in the conference program that is attached below.
