safeTALK Training - May 26

LivingWorks safeTALK is a 3.5-hour training that equips people to be

more alert to persons thinking of suicide and better able to connect them

with further help.


This training is for anyone ages 15 & up who wishes to be prepared to

raise and respond to concerns about suicide in a relationship with family,

friends, and co-workers. Key themes include overcoming personal and

community attitudes to seeking and providing help.


What you'll learn:

How to reach out to someone thinking about suicide,

How to connect someone thinking about suicide to further support,

How to talk opening with someone about suicide through a 4-step model.


When: Friday, May 26, 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
