Youth Mental Health First Aid Training (Virtual & Free)

Youth Mental Health First Aid introduces common mental health challenges, reviews typical adolescent development, and teaches a 5-step action plan for how to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations. This workshop is intended for adults working with adolescents. Topics covered will include anxiety, depression, substance abuse, disorders in which psychosis may occur, disruptive behavior disorders, and eating disorders.


The virtual workshop sponsored by Berrien RESA is schedule for August 15, from 8 am to 1 pm. Mandatory pre-work must be completed prior to the virtual training date. The pre-work is self-paced and takes approximately two hours to complete.
