Coalition Leaders Attend State Conference

In May, Bella Nichols and Robin Bourgeois represented our coalition at the Michigan Suicide Prevention Community Technical Assistance Meeting, a two-day state conference focused on suicide prevention.


Some of the topics covered by the speakers were: One Voice-Advocacy in Action: YOU ARE NOT ALONE, Suicide Attempt Survivors, Host a Community Wide Game Night, Suicide Prevention Planning, (MASP) Michigan Association of Suicide Prevention, Media as Partners, Suicide Prevention and Opioid Use, (NAMI) National Alliance on Mental Illness, Strategic Planning for Coalitions, and Community Collaboration in Suicide Prevention: Connecting the pieces.
