Virtual Support Group for Suicide Attempt Survivors (Age 18+)

This virtual support group based in Muskegon, Michigan, is for anyone (age 18+) that has ever attempted suicide and who is looking for a safe, judgment-free place of support and understanding. If you are a suicide attempt survivor and are interested in participating for the first time, please contact Scott via text/email at (231) 769-2679 or spcmuskegon@gmail.com. Meetings are held virtually, via ZOOM on the second Wednesday of each month at 7pm EST. All survivors of suicide attempts, including aborted and interrupted attempts, are welcome. Meetings are confidential. The only information collected is emergency contact information. New group attendees will be screened to ensure they meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Must be age 18 or older

  • Must be a survivor of a suicide attempt

  • Must be a Michigan resident

Disclaimer: This group is intended as peer support, and is NOT intended as group therapy. This group is led by two co-facilitators, both of whom are suicide attempt survivors, one of whom is a Master’s Level Clinician.
