988 Project - Help Needed

This summer, consider partnering with the Berrien County Suicide Prevention Coalition to inform our communities about the new national 988 suicide & crisis hotline number. Thank you to everyone who has picked up a 988-yard sign or poster and distributed them around our county. Your help is still needed.

How can I help?

• Pick-up and distribute 988-yard signs to remote areas of our county.

• Pick-up locations: Promote 988 | berriencares

• Contact your local schools, businesses, and churches to put a message on their electronic signs this summer. (Message: “988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline – Call. Text. Chat.”)

Together we will help our community be better informed of the support available to them in a mental health crisis.
